Agent Studio

Agent Studio is Workato's environment (under AI Hub) for building and operating AI-powered agents called genies. Genies combine an AI model and job description, a chat interface (Slack, Microsoft Teams or Workato GO), knowledge bases and skills built from Workato workflows and recipes. Workato Genies (pre-built genies) are not a separate product. Workato MCP servers, Workato GO action execution and AgentX support agents are not represented here.

  A genie interprets a request or task, reasons over available context, chooses from skills explicitly assigned to it, determines skill inputs and invokes the selected skill; the skill's Workato workflow or recipe then performs its configured operations. Covers conversational use, App Event-initiated interaction and headless Assign task to genie execution within one capability. Excludes ordinary Workato recipe execution without genie involvement.
