Gainsight CS MCP Server

The Gainsight CS MCP Server is Gainsight's documented integration surface through which external MCP-compatible AI clients invoke Gainsight CS tools. External clients (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Sigma) are not part of the product. Other Gainsight MCP servers (PX, CC, Skilljar, Staircase AI), Gainsight Copilot, the Gainsight AI Agent in Slack, Agent Studio and the Admin CLI are not represented here.

  The documented write tools that the Gainsight CS MCP Server exposes to external MCP-compatible AI clients. The external AI client performs the reasoning and chooses and invokes the tool; the Gainsight CS MCP Server exposes and executes the corresponding Gainsight operation. The server is not itself the reasoning agent. Four write tools are established: Create Timeline Activity, Manage Cockpit Actions, Manage Success Plan Actions and Update Timeline Activity.
