Manual Accrual Object Creation

Joule capability in which a user requests a manual accrual object in natural language, Joule proposes accrual details from AI and historical data, and, after the user reviews, adjusts and selects "Confirm and Create", Joule creates the accrual object and opens it in the Manage Manual Accruals app.

The user supplies the accrual object category and company code in the request. The capability page lists the APIs API_MANUALACCRUALS, AUI_MANUALACCRS_MNG and UI_JOURNALENTRY_MANAGE and the semantic object-action ManualAccrualObject-manage. SAP does not define which historical records are read, and documents no access beyond manual accrual and related finance objects.

SAP does not state whether the accrual creation call runs under the signed-in user's identity at the technical API layer beyond requiring the SAP_BR_GL_ACCOUNTANT business role; execution outside the SAP system boundary is neither documented nor excluded. SAP notes the Joule prompt language must match the system logon language to prevent processing discrepancies. Documented scope is limited to creation of manual accrual objects in the Manage Manual Accruals app.
